Dr. Jared Shatkin, DMD

Dr. Jared Shatkin, a proud Buffalo, NY native, was raised in a close-knit family and surrounded by lifelong friends and strong community ties. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Chemistry from SUNY Buffalo State, then continued his academic journey by completing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science at Barry University. Fueled by a deep commitment to patient care, he developed a passion for dentistry with a focus on delivering beautiful, healthy smiles in a comfortable and personalized setting.

Initially a collegiate football player at St. Lawrence University, Dr. Shatkin later transferred to Buffalo State to complete his undergraduate studies. Afterward, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Following dental school, he joined his father, Dr. Todd Shatkin, at Shatkin Dental Health, where he now provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dental services. His approach combines advanced clinical techniques with a compassionate, patient-centered philosophy to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Shatkin enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. Additionally, he shares a special bond with his beloved dog, Ashley, who’s never far from his side.
